About Surrey Shorebased

Surrey Shorebased evolved after many years of running training courses within clubs. Eventually the cost of hiring the venues became unsustainable for courses which were often for only two or three students. The decision was then made to build a classroom and become an independent RYA training establishment. The classroom is a fully insulated log cabin in the grounds of my house, fitted out specifically for teaching navigation. It can accommodate a maximum of 4 people for navigation classes and 8 for other subjects.
